Second Ave-produced video to promote bio-based tires at Copenhagen climate conference
ROCHESTER, NY – December 8, 2009 – Second Avenue Software, a Pittsford-based software development company specializing in interactive software and media production, has created a promotional video for biotechnology firm Genencor.
The purpose of the video is to promote the world's first concept demonstration tires made with BioIsoprene™ technology, a breakthrough alternative to replace a petrochemically produced ingredient in the manufacture of synthetic rubber with renewable biomass. The tires are the result of a collaboration between Genencor, a division of Danisco, and Goodyear, one of the world's largest and most innovative tire companies.
One tire will be on display at a lounge in the common departure area at the Copenhagen International Airport through December 21, accompanied by the promotional video produced by Second Ave. Another tire will make appearances at several special events during the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (COP 15) through December.
