Second Avenue Software Launches New Website

Pittsford, NY - June 28, 2006 - Second Avenue Software, Inc., launched a new website using a virtual city as its central design element. The new site is located at www.secondavesoftware.com. The new website features an innovative navigation method and an intuitive user-interface. The website employs 3-D rendered elements in a Flash environment with an XML backend for easy updating. "We wanted to showcase our ability to create an immersive environment. This site will be an evolving platform for us to explore and refine new ways of presenting information and engaging end-users" said Andrew Frueh, Creative Lead. Scott Terry, a developer for Second Ave and a recent RIT graduate, provided critical insights into the design of the new site, "The navigation was inspired by new developments in gaming platforms. We want take the best elements from the entertainment side of the new media industry and bring it to the educational domain."

The website redesign is the first of several strategic initiatives undertaken by the new media company with a focus on developing engaging learning applications.
