This Cardiac Cycle interactive was part of a set of interactives released by Prentice Hall in a series called BLAST: Biology Lecture Animations and Simulations Tool. This section on innate immunity explores the body's physiological and anatomical defenses. The interactives were designed as lecture aids for professors teaching upper-level biology. This particular interactive was produced in Flash, using a variety of 3D images created in Maya. The BLAST series required Second Avenue Software to work closely with subject matter experts to maintain scientific accuracy.
