This Cardiac Cycle interactive was created as one of a set of interactives released by Prentice Hall in a series called BLAST: Biology Lecture Animations and Simulations Tool. This section explores the structure and function of a human heart. The interactives were designed to serve as lecture aids to professors teaching upper level biology. This particular interactive was produced in Flash, using a variety of 3D images created in Maya. This entire series required us to work closely with subject matter experts who guided the creation of the content to ensure its scientific accuracy.
